3. Bookings, Deposits & Payments
To schedule and confirm your renovation project, a formal contract agreement and an initial deposit will be required. Payment schedules for project milestones will be clearly outlined in your detailed quotation:
- Deposits: Required prior to ordering custom materials or reserving schedule slots.
- Milestone Payments: Invoiced upon completion of specific project phases (e.g., rough-in plumbing, tiling, final fit-out).
- Final Payment: Due upon final walkthrough and practical completion of the project.
4. Client Obligations & Site Access
To ensure a smooth execution of the project, clients agree to fulfill the following obligations:
- Site Access: Grant reasonable and safe access to the property for our tradespeople during agreed working hours.
- Permissions & Permits: Ensure all necessary planning consents, building regulation approvals, or landlord permissions are secured before work commences.
- Utilities: Provide reliable electricity and running water on-site for the duration of the works.
5. Variations & Scope Changes
Any modifications, additions, or structural changes to the agreed scope of work requested after work has started will be documented as a “Variation Order”. Variations may result in adjustments to both the final price and the completion schedule.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
If you wish to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, written notice must be submitted. Deposits are non-refundable once bespoke materials have been ordered or active site work has commenced.
7. Warranties & Workmanship
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality craftsmanship. All structural and installation works completed by our team are backed by our trade warranty. Product warranties for fixtures, appliances, and materials are passed directly from the manufacturers to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
Trend Design & Renovation shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from unforeseen site conditions, third-party delays, or forces outside our reasonable control, to the maximum extent permitted by UK law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes or claims arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
